A question: The words GREAT and GRAND, can you use them in the same way or do they have a grammar rule?
Janet explica – Ambos son adjetivos. “Great” significa más de lo normal en cantidad o calidad.
He is a great pianist. (Él es un gran pianista.)
That was a great dinner. (Eso fue una cena fantástica.)
She showed great interest in learning English. (Ella mostró un gran interés en aprender inglés.)
“Grand” significa espectacular o maravilloso.
The mansion has a grand entrance with a winding staircase and a chandelier.
